Partners in Education
 
Several private organizations and government agencies contribute to this site.  They provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date information related to education.  These partner organizations are working to ensure the academic success and bright futures of all our children in the District.
 
The Archdiocese of Washington administers Catholic elementary and high schools in the District of Columbia.  These schools are based on the teachings of the Catholic Church, but also welcome students of different faiths.
 
The Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington (AISGW) is a nonprofit organization with 84 private and parochial member schools in the greater Washington area.  AISGW is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the District of Columbia Council for American Private Education (DC/CAPE), and Washington Council of Agencies.
 
The District of Columbia State Board of Education is the official policymaking body for education-related issues in the city.
 
DC CAP is a nonprofit organization that provides college preparation counseling, financial aid assistance, scholarship programs, parent education, college application assistance, and college student support.
 
DC Department of Health promotes and protects the health, safety and quality of life of residents, visitors and those doing business in the District of Columbia.
